One last day in Jaipur

Our final day in India… and what a journey it had been! This was day eight of our Passion for Cruises hosted India tour, travelling from Jaipur to Delhi.

That morning we stepped into history at the Jaipur Observatory, Jantar Mantar — an open-air museum filled with incredible astronomical instruments. I found it fascinating to think about the work of Maharaja Jai Singh II in the 1700s: measuring time, tracking the stars and predicting eclipses.

Inside the City Palace

From there we wandered over to the City Palace, still home to Jaipur’s royal family. The blend of Rajput and Mughal architecture was beautiful.

We enjoyed seeing the clothes once worn by royalty in the museum. It was fascinating to imagine the grandeur of life in those times, and a lovely last bit of sightseeing.

Memories on the road to Delhi

Then it was back on the bus for our final night in Delhi. As the miles rolled by, we reflected on the adventure: so much laughter and so many unforgettable memories.

Our guide had made everything run smoothly and brought so much fun to the trip. India felt so different from home in the UK, in the most fascinating way — a beautiful chaos that left its mark on us.

Thank you for following our journey. Every like and comment meant the world to me.

A little story from my travels.
