A busy, lovely beginning

The first two days on P&O Azura were a whirlwind. We had 150 solo cruisers booked through Passion for Cruises, travelling from across the UK to Malta for either seven or fourteen nights. I was co-hosting with Phil, a familiar voice to many people who have booked with PFC.

Room to come together

P&O gave our group a private function space for coffee mornings and pre-dinner drinks, plus a section of the main dining room where we could gather in the evenings. With a group this size, having those meeting places made the start of the cruise work really well.

Our first night was an overnight in Malta. After the next morning’s coffee meet-up, a few of us went exploring on foot. It was my first visit, and such a beautiful introduction that I was already thinking about returning for a weekend.

An adventure in two chapters

The itinerary took us towards Croatia in the first week and Greece in the second, with another overnight in Malta halfway through. Fourteen nights gave me plenty to look forward to, alongside the lovely group I was sharing them with.

By 14 April, I was enjoying a morning coffee on a sea day towards Malta — one of those little moments I always love to share.

A little story from my travels.
