I had the most amazing time attending the exclusive UK premiere of the Take That musical, Greatest Days on P&O Cruises newest ship Arvia on Sunday, 30th April. It was a day filled with non-stop fun and excitement as I met a bunch of fabulous people and discovered all the incredible things the ship has to offer.

A bit about the ship…

Arvia is an Excel class ship that’s perfect for families and offers a wide range of activities that cater to everyone’s preferences. You can indulge in top-of-the-line amenities like Mission Control, an immersive escape room, or shop to your heart’s content at The Avenue, which boasts over 900 square metres of luxurious branded retail shopping. And if you’re looking for outdoor adventures, Arvia’s Altitude activity zone will blow your mind with its tropical-themed mini-golf course, Splash Valley, and Skywalk, the first-ever high-ropes experience on a P&O Ship.

But wait, there’s so much more! Arvia guarantees entertainment for everyone, no matter who you’re travelling with. Trust me, I was on her sister ship Iona and had an awesome time, and what I’m seeing on Arvia, she’s definitely just as good.

Two of the most important things for me when booking a cruise is Food and Entertainment!!

I had canapés and champagne on arrival in the Skydome and again after the show in the Crow’s Nest. They were delicious.

Seeing the phenomenal performance of Greatest Days was amazing and left me wanting more, even though I did shed a tear. It’s a captivating and uplifting show that’s an adaptation of the successful West End musical, The Band, featuring the iconic music of Take That and a heartwarming storyline written by Olivier Award-winning writer, Tim Firth.

After the breathtaking performance, I explored the gorgeous ship, which reminded me of my previous cruise aboard her sister ship, Iona. The ship’s modern and spacious layout provides stunning panoramic views of the sea from every angle. It’s a perfect blend of old and new, featuring the fleet’s classic favourites while encouraging you to explore the new and exciting spaces.

I popped to The Quays for a salad and carrot cake before exploring the ship a little more with some friends then heading back home on the train.

If you’re a food lover, Arvia has got you covered with its impressive dining options.

Overall, Arvia is the ultimate destination for non-stop fun and excitement, and I can’t wait to go back!
