I had the pleasure of attending the launch event for Regent Seven Seas’ newest ship, Seven Seas Prestige. While the ship herself is still under construction, the big reveal had us all in awe – a first look at the Skyview Regent Suite, the largest and most luxurious cruise suite ever built.

This jaw-dropping suite comes in at £20,000 per night, but the specs speak for themselves:

– 817 square metres over two levels

– 344 sqm of wraparound balcony

– Two bedrooms, two-and-a-half bathrooms

– Private lift, floating stone staircase, personal gym, sauna, and dining area

– An staggering walk-in wardrobe

The suite also includes a personal butler, a private chauffeur in every port, spa treatments, and welcome bottles of Dom Pérignon and Rémy Martin Louis XIII Cognac.

Regent shared stunning renderings and an immersive video walk-through of the suite, and it’s safe to say it’s unlike anything else at sea – sleek Italian design, sculptural lighting, glass-front cabinetry, and an in-suite spa experience.

What makes Seven Seas Prestige particularly exciting is that the ship is 40% larger than previous Regent ships, yet accommodates only 10% more guests – just 822 in total. That means even more personal space.

Launching in December 2026, her inaugural season includes 13 sailings across Europe and the Caribbean, with two transatlantic crossings and ports including Lisbon, Bordeaux, Harvest Caye (Regent’s private island), and Southampton.

Even if the Skyview Suite is out of reach for most of us, other suites – all with balconies – start at £5,079pp for a 14 night cruise, with Regent’s famous extensive all-inclusive experience included.

Being at the launch was a wonderful glimpse into the future of ultra-luxury cruising. I may not be booking the Skyview Suite anytime soon (unless my lottery numbers come up), but Seven Seas Prestige is now firmly on my watchlist – and one I’ll be recommending to guests looking for something truly exceptional.
